Amelia K Youth Development Counselor

Hi! My name is Amelia from Greenville, South Carolina and this is my 9th summer at TAW. I am a Junior in Highschool and currently looking at Georgia and TCU for college. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, playing sports, and spending time in the sun! My favorite part about TAW is the community created and the friendships made, it makes it so so special. One fun fact about me is I am a twin! Can’t wait to meet all the amazing people this summer!!

Anna E Youth Development Counselor

Hi everyone! My name is Anna, I’m from Berlin, Germany and this will be my first year at camp TAW. I just came back from a voluntary year in the Netherlands where I was working and living with people with mental disabilities and now I’m a full time babysitter until the start of university in October. Besides that, I love going out into nature, travelling, doing sports and making music! What I’m most looking forward to this summer is making a lot of new friends, learning loads of new things from all the campers and other counsellors and most importantly just having as much fun together as possible! A fun fact about me is that I taught myself how to juggle. I can’t wait to meet you all! :)

Austin F Youth Development Counselor

Hello all you Ton-A-Wandah girls! I'm Austin from Winston-Salem, NC, and this is my 7th summer at Camp TAW! I'm interested in performing arts, chemistry, and tennis. My favorite part about camp is the Fire Games on the last day, more specifically finding out that the Ms. Judys won AGAIN (go purple)!!! A fun fact about me is that I have seen 24 shows on Broadway across 21 different theaters and I have performed in about 12 different plays/musicals since July 2023.

Becky T Youth Development Counselor

Hi, my name is Becky! I'm so excited to be a part of the TAW team.I live in South East England and this is my first year as a counsellor. I currently work as an early years educator and have been developing my career as a practitioner for the past four years. I can’t wait to expand on my experience at camp teaching canoeing, zumba and pottery. In my free time, I enjoy evenings out with my friends and Sunday walks along the seaside with my puppy and family. See you soon!

Beth K Youth Development Counselor

Hello everyone, I'm Beth from Glasgow, Scotland and this will be my 2nd summer here at Camp Ton-A-Wandah. I graduated from college last year with a qualification in Healthcare practice and hoping to attend University next year to fulfil my dream of becoming a paramedic, It has always been my dream to help others in need. I'm currently still at home with my parents and dogs Bute and new puppy Olive. I work at the American company Topgolf here in Glasgow and absolutely love the atmosphere it brings to all the players and playmakers. My favrouite part of camp is the evening programmes, I love when all the camp comes together and get to enjoy a EP and having fun, laughing with each other after a long day doing activities. I also love when myself and campers try to catch fireflies on the walk back to our cabins after EP or when it gets dark at camp. I find it pretty magical as we don't have fireflies here in Scotland. A fun fact about me is that I am a pretty good baker and love to bake in my free time for my family and friends. I can't wait to meet everyone and have another unforgettable summer at camp.

Chloe S Youth Development Counselor

Hello! My name is Chloe, I am from the west coast of Scotland and I am currently in my second year at the University of Glasgow studying mechanical engineering. When I am not working on coursework I tutor maths which I absolutely love—especially because of the brilliant kids I get to work with. In my free time, I enjoy cycling, drawing, and getting lost in a good book. I’m most excited to meet everyone at camp and explore such a beautiful place filled with adventure and new experiences. A fun fact about me is that I’ve painted props used on Outlander! Also, my friends and I have been working on a scrapbook together for the past five years! It's full of amazing memories and little bits of our lives. I can’t wait to meet everyone this summer and make incredible memories together!

Hi I’m Chloe from Leicestershire, England and this will be my 1st summer at TAW. When I’m not working, I’m either following my football (soccer) team around the country or doing cheerleading. I’m so excited to experience everything camp has to offer and cannot wait for this summer!!

Coco A Youth Development Counselor

Hi Ton-a-wandah family! My name is Coco Aguilar and I am from Miami, Florida. I attended camp back in 2016 and this is my first year as a camp counselor! My favorite part about camp while being a camper was getting dressed up for 4th of July and watching the fireworks with all my friends. Now as a camp counselor I am so excited to share that experience with all the campers! I currently attend Florida State University and I am studying Business Management. My hobbies include playing all types of sports, going on the boat and to the beach, and going to concerts with my friends and family!

Courtney H Youth Development Counselor

Hi TAW family! My name is Courtney and I am from County Derry, Ireland. I am going to be a first time counsellor at Tonawandah this summer! I am currently doing my A-Levels and I'm going on to study Engineering at the University of Ulster. I currently work in a pizza shop in my home town, the best pizza shop in my part of the country if you ask me. Another fun fact about me is I'm a big music enthusiast, when words can't speak, music does. I was even the lead in a production of 'Annie' the musical. I am looking forward to making unforgettable friendships and watching campers gain the confidence they didn't know they needed. Super excited to meet all my campers and staff of camp 2025!

Eden H Youth Development Counselor

Hi! I’m Eden from Columbia, SC. This will be my 7th year at camp, but first as a counselor! I love listening to music and playing guitar. My favorite parts about camp are team events, especially basketball, and Captain Billy’s fried chicken! A fun fact about me is that I have a dog named Jellybean. Hey Tonawandah family!! My name is Ella and I'm from a town called Northampton in Great Britain.This is my first ever year at camp TAW and I am so excited. I'm in my last year of studying sports coaching and sports massage at college. I also have spent the last 9 years playing rugby and enjoy it loads. The things I am most looking forward to about coming to camp is being in a new and beautiful environment and meeting new people and making new friends. A fun fact about me is that my favourite drink is not tea but it is good to dunk digestives into. I cannot wait to meet everyone!!

Hi! I’m Ella from Charlotte, North Carolina and this is my 8th summer at TAW. I am a rising senior in high school, and I play field hockey, sing in my school’s Chamber Choir, and enjoy being outside. I love spending time with my friends and family! My favorite parts about camp are doing camp-wide Zumba and seeing my younger cousin. A fun fact about me is that my car is named Michelle. My name is Ella, and I am from Charlotte, NC. I am currently studying Elementary Education with a double minor in Brain Adaptive Behavior and Early Childhood Development at Virginia Tech. This will be my 11th year at TAW, and I am so so excited to come back for another summer at my favorite place in the whole world! My favorite part of TAW is the sisterhood and lifelong bonds I gain each summer. I look forward to lifeguarding on the dock and making this summer so much fun.

Hey camp TAW! My name is Emily and I am from a little town in New Zealand called Te Awamutu. This is my first camp. I am joining in 2025. I do not study but I do have a job at my local supermarket called Fresh Choice. What I am looking forward to is seeing everyone make a difference, making new life long memories and living lake life! A fun fact about me is I love the weirdest food combos... like salami on biscuits. Another fact is, I can memorize license plates and NEVER forget them. So excited to become part of the team and meet everyone.

Evye S Youth Development Counselor

Hello! My name is Evye and this will be my 9th summer at TAW. I was a camper for 7 years (first cabin was Dogwood!) and a counselor last year (in Holly cabin!). I have lived in Colorado and South Carolina and I love to travel- my favorite place I've been is Italy. At home I play lacrosse and hang out with friends. My favorite part of camp is the waterfront and all my friends that I get to see each summer! A fun fact about me is that I have a twin brother and my best friend (who also goes to TAW) has a twin brother and we're all BFFs. Can't wait for this summer!!!

Gabby G Youth Development Counselor

Hi! I am Gabby and I am from Washington, D.C. I was a camper at ton-a-wandah for 8 years and am now ready for my first summer as a counselor! I will be a high school senior this fall and love spending my time with loved ones, reading, and running. My favorite part of camp is making connections with all the wonderful women around me, but especially all the lake side activities. A fun fact about me is that I have been to 15 concerts!

Gaby L Youth Development Counselor

Hello Tonawandah family! I’m Gaby from Bogotá, Colombia, and this is my first summer at TAW. I am currently studying Music at Universidad de Los Andes, where I focus on music theory, harmony, and production. Outside of University, I spend my time writing and producing my own songs as an independent artist under the name Liné. I also love playing soccer, a hobby I’ve enjoyed since I was little and playing the guitar.

As a newcomer to the TAW family, I’m most excited about connecting with everyone through music and creativity, sharing experiences, and learning from this amazing community.
A fun fact about me is that I’ve recently started exploring Italian, and I’m an emerging independent artist under the name Liné. I can't wait to meet you all.
